Eminox is one of Europe's leading emission technology providers. Due to the Company's recent success and subsequent growth, new facilities were necessary. Remaining in the Lincolnshire town of Gainsborough, an existing brown field site was developed to include 7,000 square meters of factory and office space. The multi-million pound investment was sought to accommodate increased production and future growth.
Safecontrol were appointed to provide a number of specialist services within the development. A Category 6 structured cabling system was installed throughout the offices and factory. Network cabinets were located at various locations, being linked by resilient fibre optic backbone infrastructure cabling. Telephone host cabling was also installed throughout the site. A zoned public address system was installed in both the factory and several of the office areas. This system provided for music broadcasts and included a PABX interface for public address announcements. An intercom system was installed at the factory gate entrance for both vehicle and pedestrian access. In addition to this Paxton Net2 door access equipment was installed at a number of doors within the development.
