Safecontrol was successfully awarded the contract for the role out of wireless installations for leading law firm, Shoosmiths.  The roll out across the ten Shoosmiths sites throughout the country began in March 2016 and is set to continue to the end of this year.

Shoosmiths is a major UK law firm based in Northampton, with branches throughout the UK from Edinburgh to Southampton.  They work with numerous high profile clients and have a turnover of £102.7 million. 

The project brief was to install a fast and reliable wireless network throughout each site.  Category 6a cabling was selected, which provides 10 Gigabit Ethernet support.  Category 6a was specified as the client required a fast and reliable network infrastructure.   CISCO Maraki wireless systems were installed throughout each site. The works were programmed for out of hours, either evenings, weekends or bank holiday weekends, for the larger sites, in an effort to minimise disruption to staff.  The work had to be undertaken in an efficient and timely manner to ensure that staff were able to return the office on the subsequent working day without any downtime incurred.
