St Peter and St Paul Church of England Primary School is a foundation Primary School for boys and girls aged 4-11 years in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.  The new School opened its doors to local pupils in September 2013.  The £3 million development was in response to the growing demand for Primary School places within the Lakeside area of Scunthorpe.

Safecontrol was appointed by North Lincolnshire Council to install a number of Smart Interactive Whiteboards within various classrooms throughout the School.  Safecontrol’s project team worked closely with both North Lincolnshire Council and the School to produce a specification for a solution that was both practical and would stand the test of time.  The Smart 600 series was selected namely for its exceptional ease of use and state of the art performance.  The system included Interactive Whiteboards with integrated projectors and speakers and height adjustable wall mounts for increased flexibility.

Smart Interactive Whiteboards combine the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer, the 600 series interactive whiteboard connects the projector to display the desktop on the interactive whiteboard. You can then control applications on the screen, write notes in digital ink and save your work to share later. The 600 series interactive whiteboard also comes with SMART Notebook collaborative learning software, which helps you create, deliver and manage high-impact interactive lessons.
