Officially opened on the 1st February, 2013, the iconic new office complex will serve as the headquarters for the UK’s leading global tanker and shipping agency, Graypen.  The purpose built offices are located within heart of Immingham will accommodate up to seventy staff.

Safecontrol was enlisted to provide the design and installation of various systems within the development.  Safecontrol’s Contracts Managers worked closely with the IT department of Graypen to provide a design concept that was both future proof and functional.  Safecontrol provided a complete turnkey package comprising of various specialist systems.  Category 6 structured cabling was installed throughout the development which provided both LAN and voice connectivity to support the IP telephony system.  An IP close circuit television system was installed to provide both internal and external coverage of the building.  The  system allows for remote monitoring of the site by a third party.  Additional security was provided by a combined access control and intercom system.  A Paxton audio/video access control system, complete with proximity readers were installed at external doors enabling monitored access to the building.  A public address system was installed within the internal of the building to provide background music and voice announcements.  An IRS TV distribution system was installed, complete with installation of flat screen TVs.  Within the meeting rooms short throw projectors and screens have been installed to provide comprehensive board room solutions.

The complete package, from initial design concept through to completion, took seven months.  Throughout the project Safecontrol worked alongside a number of other trades, meaning there was very little room for slippage.
