The new Typhoon maintenance facility hanger was built to replace the existing structure in order to improve the facilities at RAF Coningsby.  The £18 million state of the art facility supports the second line maintenance of all the RAF’s Typhoon aircraft.  The hanger is home to the Eurofighter Typhoon, the Royal Air Force’s most modern and versatile multi-role aircraft.

Safecontrol was responsible for the installation of a new public address system covering the offices, workshop and external areas of the 10 700 square meter hanger.  The client praised all involved as the whole project was completed on time and within budget.
