64 Newland is a Grade II listed building in the heart of the City. The site has attracted much historical interest in the last few years. It was discovered to be a Roman burial ground. The go ahead has now been given to convert the existing building into 11 new apartments with an additional 12 apartments being constructed. The apartments will be student accomodation in response to the growing needs of the University. The scope of works includes, IRS TV distribution system, Category 5e structured cabling/Wi-Fi and telephone cabling.
